The January 4th broadcast of Shownieuws saw Tooske Ragas' debut. Patty and Tooske already collaborated on the paranormal talent show De Nieuwe Uri Geller and the panel game Wie Ben Ik? in 2008 and 2009 on SBS6. Patty confirmed that Dutch actor Ferry Doedens posted explicit content on the porn platform OnlyFans.com. A blurred photo taken from a masturbation video was shown. According to the ex-Luv' singer, this unexpected career switch was due to the fact that the young man was dismissed from the RTL 4's soap opera Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden and that he didn't do a lot of acting.
On the same edition of Shownieuws, Patty also discussed the comeback of Big Brother (whose premiere on RTL 4 attracted 1.006.000 viewers (market share: 15.1%). Big Brother 2021 is a collaboration between RTL Nederland and SBS Belgium. Patty said that she didn't appreciate the Flemish voice-over on the reality show. In the autumn of 2001, the prima donna hosted the third season of Big Brother on Yorin.
Moreover, La Brard and her colleague, Evert Santegoeds hoped that Dutch celebrity Estelle Cruijff would be evicted from her home in Amsterdam after she misbehaved on social media. Recently, the niece of the football legend Johan Cruijff spent New Year's Eve in Dubai with rapper Lil' Kleine in spite of the recommendations of the authorities related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Santegoeds wrote a critical article about this inappropriate holiday in De Telegraaf. Estelle and Lil Kleine reacted to it by posting a picture of them raising their middle fingers to Evert and De Telegraaf.
On the January 8th edition of Shownieuws, La Brard defended Lieke and Jetteke van Lexmond (who put out their own lunar calendar) after they declared on De 5 Uur Show that the storming of the United States Capitol by pro-Trump protesters was due to the position of planet Mars. The Van Lexmond sisters were dissed on the internet. Patty admitted that she had a copy of their lunar calendar in her kitchen.

Koffietijd
On January 8th, Patty appeared on RTL 4's morning talk show Koffietijd which drew 193.000 viewers (market share: 24.4%). Click here to watch her interview.
The TV personality explained that 2020 was a good year for her. She told that a second children's book and three collections for Kruidvat would come out in 2021. The larger than life entertainer said that after living an alcohol-free life for three years, she wanted to inspire other people to do the same. She celebrated New Year's Eve without wine and Champagne (see news posted on January 3rd, 2021). She brought alcohol-free sparkling wine bottles for a tasting with the Koffietijd team. She added that she liked vegan food.

An alcohol-free talk with Koos van Plateringen
On January 8th, Patty's talk with TV host and friend Koos van Plateringen was posted on Instagram. Recently, Koos explained in De Telegraaf that a Whatsapp message he received from Patty three years ago was a real eye-opener and stopped his alcohol consumption (see news posted on November 22nd, 2020).
Lookalike on Bridgerton
Yesterday, Miss Brard posted on Instagram a picture of a lookalike: Queen Charlotte portrayed by Guyanese-British actress Golda Rosheuvel on the Netflix series Bridgerton.
