* On December 30th, Patty Brard posted on Instagram a picture of herself with her 91-year-old mother. She also wrote a long accompanying text. Every day she visits her mom at a retirement home in The Hague. The old lady suffers from a respiratory infection. Recently, Patty went to a Shell gas station to fill her car up with petrol on her way to the nursing home. Next to the station, there was a Starbucks coffee shop where Patty wanted to buy a muffin for her sick mom. According to the SBS6 star, the whole purchase only took a minute. When she got back to her car, an angry customer shouted at her and said she was a "stupid idiot" as she didn't move her vehicle during the quick purchase. La Brard was so shocked by the man's violent reaction that she burst into tears. Patty wants more kindness among people.

* Patty is happy with the alcohol-free life she lives. That's what she told recently on Instagram. Three years ago, she totally stopped her alcohol consumption, underwent a gastric bypass and lost 40 kilos. She has no regrets about the choices she made. The former Luv' singer celebrated New Year's Eve without wine and Champagne.
