Patty Brard in the spotlight: Launch of the Christmas collection at Kruidvat, Exchanging books with Heleen, Koffietijd and other news

November 20th saw the launch of Patty Brard's Christmas collection "From PB with love" on the website of Kruidvat (Dutch chain of drugstores). Click here to see and buy all the PB items. Tomorrow Patty's products will also be available in every Kruidvat shop across the Netherlands in addition to the online sale.

Patty and Heleen exchange books

On November 18th, De Telegraaf posted a video of Dutch writer Heleen van Royen visiting Patty Brard. The two celebrities exchanged their books. Heleen talked about her late father and her artistic freedom to write about all the subjects she wanted. Click here to watch the video.

On the same day, the ladies appeared on SBS6's entertainment news program Shownieuws (where Patty works as a showbiz expert). The TV show attracted 305.000 viewers (market share: 10.5%)

Moreover, yesterday's edition of Shownieuws featured Patty again and drew 502.000 viewers (market share: 17.8%)

Patty Brard on Koffietijd


On November 20th, the former Luv' singer was invited on RTL 4's morning talk show Koffietijd to discuss her Bibi & Lulu book. The program drew 188.000 viewers (market share: 27.3%)

The SBS6 star explained how she started the writing of her children's book. "It all began during the lockdown last Spring on Ibiza. I observed my dogs Bibi and Lulu and their interaction with a cat in our garden. Meanwhile, my husband Antoine gave me a special present: the diary he wrote about our dogs. In addition to the book, there's also music written by Guido Spek. We both sing on these tracks," she told.


Patty also talked about her late dog Lulu that died recently. "It's a strange feeling. People who don't have pets cannot understand it. Some may think I'm too crazy for my dog. But I miss Lulu so much," she added.

A helping hand from Patty

TV host and colleague Koos van Plateringen explained in yesterday's edition of De Telegraaf that a Whatsapp message he received from Patty three years ago was a real eye-opener and stopped his alcohol consumption.

All That Patty Wants for Christmas is Mother and Daughter


Recently, Patty told Holland's largest news agency ANP that she wanted to pose with her mother and her daughter for a special Christmas photo. Earlier this year, the diva was reconciled with them.
