Two days ago, Patty Brard posted on Instagram a funny video of herself promoting the Dutch State Lottery. This year, the legendary Dutch singer Lee Towers is the mascot of the King's Day Draw that will happen on Koningsdag (King's Day on April 27th):

Patty & Stefano's Big Kruidvat Spring Cleaning

Recently, Patty Brard and Stefano Keizers took part in a video posted on Kruidvat's YouTube channel. They did a spring cleaning. 

The diva previously launched two collections available at Kruidvat which is a  Dutch retail, pharmacy and drugstore chain (see news posted on March 18th, 2020 and on November 22nd, 2020).

Patty Brard is Mrs. Claus for De Telegraaf and Privé!

A couple of weeks ago, Holland's most-read newspaper De Telegraaf and its sister magazine Privé announced that Patty Brard would travel through the Netherlands to make people's wishes come true this Christmas (see news posted on November 28th, 2020). Readers were asked to register persons who deserved a very special Christmas this year so Patty would visit them to give them presents. 

Recently, La Brard visited an elderly lady who had a bad year due to the death of her husband. Her daughter Astrid called the ex-Luv' singer and her team to surprise her mother. The video of this meeting was posted two days ago on VNDG, De Telegraaf's online video platform. Click here to watch it.

"Wie het laatst lacht" and "Shownieuws" (featuring Patty Brard): viewing figures on December 5th

Yesterday, Patty Brard appeared twice on television:

- SBS6's hidden camera show "Wie het laatst lacht" featuring Roy Donders pranked by Patty Brard. The prime-time TV program drew 604.000 viewers (market share: 10.6%). It even reached #14 on SKO's Dag Top 25 (the daily list of the 25 most popular TV shows conceived by Dutch audience measurement company Stichting KijkOnderzoek). 

Patty's prank took place during a photo shoot with a tank on a military base. 

- SBS6's entertainment news program "Shownieuws" (featuring Patty as a showbiz expert) which attracted 567.000 viewers (market share: 16.4%). It peaked at #15 on SKO's Dag Top 25.

Patty Brard, Rico Verhoeven, Romy Monteiro and Anna Nooshin in Kalvijn's new music video!!!

Patty Brard, Dutch singer Romy Monteiro, kickboxer Rico Verhoeven and media personality Anna Nooshin appear in "Legend For Life", the new music video by Dutch YouTuber Kalvijn. 

Kalvijn asked a 5-year old boy named Guy to "direct" the music video. Guy could choose which celebrity, which location and which stunt would be involved in the video.

Quarantour: Patty Brard gives a guided tour of her house in Ibiza

Yesterday, the latest episode of Anna Nooshin's vlog "Quarantour" was posted on YouTube and featured Patty Brard giving a guided tour of her house in Ibiza. 

Since March, the diva has been on lockdown with her husband Antoine and her dogs (Bibi & Lulu) in Ibiza due to the coronavirus.

Patty @ Wereldkerstcircus

On December 20th, Patty Brard enjoyed beautiful circus acts as part of the Wereldkerstcircus, a flamboyant show at the Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam. This event was organized by Henk van der Meijden, the Godfather of Dutch gossip journalism (founder of Privé magazine and former gossip columnist for De Telegraaf). In addition to La Brard, other celebrities (including Gerard Joling, André van Duin and Bridget Maasland attended the show.

Yesterday Dutch label Berk Music announced the release of Roy Donders & Patty Brard's new Carnival duet "We Zullen De Laatsten Zijn".

Last year, Roy and Patty put out a previous Carnival track ("Wat zijn ze lekker") which was voted "Holland's best Carnival hit of 2017" by the listeners of Dutch radio station Puur NL (see news posted on February 24th, 2017).

Interview with Patty on Linda TV

Recently, Patty Brard was interviewed about her dogs Bibi and Lulu by Kimberley Klaver for LINDA.tv (Linda de Mol's video app). The diva told that she planned to publish children's books about her dogs in aid of a Dutch children's cancer charity.

Patty: My dogs.

Mandy: Your all-time guilty pleasure?

Patty: Stylist van het Zuiden (Roy Donders' reality show), ABBA, sauerkraut.

Mandy: Favourite color? 

Patty: Black because it makes you look slimmer and white because it's sunny.

Mandy: What do you prefer: Playboy magazine or Weekend?

Patty: Playboy pays better but you have to look very good....well I prefer Weekend. 

Mandy: The last time you cried?

Patty: Oh honey, the test card makes me cry.

Patty: Nothing or nobody scares me.

They sang several tracks (including their duet "Wat zijn ze lekker" and Luv's signature song "You're the Greatest Lover").

Yesterday, De Telegraaf/Privé TV revealed on its website the music video for "Wat zijn ze lekker", the Carnival duet by Roy Donders & Patty Brard.

Roy & Patty shoot a music video for their Carnival duet

Earlier today, Roy Donders and Patty Brard took part in the shooting of the music video for their Carnival duet "Wat zijn ze lekker" at the Popcentrum Jacobiberg in Arnhem, NL.

Patty pays tribute to Frank Awick

Recently, showbiz reporter Frank Awick left Dutch local channel AT5. He has been interviewing the crème de la crème of Dutch celebrities since the early 1990s. Among them: Patty Brard. The former Luv' singer has always been honest with him and often discussed touchy issues (including her bankruptcy and the death of her dear friend, iT owner Manfred Langer).

On July 1st, the "Shownieuws" diva paid tribute to Frank by posting a nice picture and a kind message to support him on Facebook.

Thuis op Zondag: Kim-Lian and Patty have fun together at the shooting range!!!

Last month, Patty Brard replaced Dirk Zeelenberg on SBS 6's program "Thuis Op Zondag". She co-hosted the TV show with Kim-Lian van der Meij. The diva expressed satisfaction on social media. She was very happy with her collaboration with Kim-Lian. Patty explained that she wanted to host "Thuis Op Zondag" permanently with her (see news posted on February 15th, 2016). 

Last Sunday, the ex-Luv' singer was supposed to co-host the talk show once again but she cancelled her participation due to an illness (see news posted on March 6th, 2016). 

Recently, during a sequence in a shooting range which is used for the next episode, La Brard made her colleague laugh so hard that she fell on the floor. A video of this funny moment has been posted on the Twitter account of "Thuis Op Zondag". Click here to watch it.

Patty's conversation with David Bowie

David Bowie's death shocked the whole world earlier this week. May he rest in peace. He was the king of re-invention and his contribution to rock and pop music has been huge.

In 1987, Patty Brard hosted "Bingo", a music chart program on BRT in Belgium. For the purposes of this TV show, she had the opportunity to interview Bowie in Amsterdam. At the time, the artist was promoting his "Day-In Day-Out" single (taken from his 17th studio album 'Never Let Me Down'). The song criticized urban decay and deprivation in American cities. Bowie discussed several subjects with Patty (his live performances, the situation of homeless people in Los Angeles, paternity....).
