Patty & Antoine
The latest column written by Patty Brard for "Weekend Magazine" deals with her future wedding with Dutch architect Antoine van de Vijver. Patty's fiancé made his marriage proposal live on TV on Valentine's day (see news posted on February 16th, 2014). Since 2006, the media have often speculated about the union of Miss Brard with Antoine. But the lovebirds have been busy for years with the construction of their "nest" in Amstelveen, NL and renovation works. The time to marry has come. The larger than life TV personality explains that the couple will go to Ibiza to celebrate their birthdays in late March and then they will decide when they get married. Patty would like to "walk down the aisle" in September, her favourite month on the island. Her friend "Merel" described as the "ultimate Dutch hippie in Ibiza" will be in charge of the decoration. Mary Borsato (mother of Dutch pop star Marco Borsato) will design the wedding dress. And of course there will be lots of Champagne bottles.
