Pat's column about Madonna

Madonna & Timor Steffens

The latest column posted by Patty Brard on weekend-online.nl deals with Madonna and her Dutch "toyboy" Timor Steffens. The revelations about the "latest flame" of the "Queen of Pop" caused a sensation earlier this month. Patty underlines the fact that no-one is shocked when a mature man seeks sexual relationships with considerably younger women. But when a woman dates a younger man, people use words like "cougar" and "toyboy".

By the way, La Brard and Miss Ciccone have something in common: both of them worked with the same session musicians and producers. Among them were Paulinho Da Costa (who played percussion on Patty's first LP in 1981 and Madonna's "True Blue" album in 1986) and Jai Winding (who produced Brard's "Red Light" in 1985 and who was the musical director on Madonna's Blond Ambition Tour (1990) and The Girlie Show (1993).
