Marga Scheide at "Hans Klok & Friends" premiere

On July 18th, Marga Scheide, her partner Michiel Gunning, her sister Hannie and their friends (Silvia Moos, gossip columnist Jan Uriot and Dennis van Zwol) attended the premiere of the "Hans Klok & Friends" show at the Griftpark in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

* José Hoebee in De Telegraaf: "Bonnie, please call me!"

The July 22nd edition of De Telegraaf featured an article written by Jan Uriot about José Hoebee in its "Privé" (entertainment news) section. 

Recently, a biography about Bonnie St. Claire came out. This publication generated publicity in the Netherlands. The book mentions Bonnie's collaboration with José in the 1980s. The ladies formed a duo to sing Dutch cover versions of ABBA songs produced by José's husband, record producer Will Hoebee. They scored two Dutch Top 40 hits: Cassandra (1984) and Zoals Vrienden Doen (The Way Old Friends Do - 1985). Shortly afterwards, a duet LP entitled "Herinnering" (including the two above-mentioned singles) was released. Last Autumn, the album was reissued on CD/DVD after a crowdfunding campaign. José told De Telegraaf that Bonnie had been ignoring her for years although she appeared in her biography. "I don't know what I did wrong. I think Bonnie is not that angry at me. Otherwise, she would not have written about me. My late husband Will Hoebee and I are frequently mentioned. I appreciate it. I don't have her new phone number. That's why sometimes I send messages to her manager. Recently I wrote to him: "Bonnie looks fantastic on the cover of her book". The manager answered: "I'm going to forward your message to Bonnie". But I never got an answer from her whereas my phone number is still the same. Bonnie can call me but she doesn't do it. In my opinion, her husband Anne-Jan forbids her from contacting me. Maybe it's because I used to say that she should drink less. I understand that she's leaving the past behind. We used to have fun back in the day. Now that I'm ill, I need her. It would be so nice if we could talk and laugh again. We laughed a lot in the past," José explained. 

As for Bonnie who is busy promoting her book, she told De Telegraaf/Privé she was not opposed to reconciliation. "José has moved often. She was here and another time she was there. She even lived in Belgium. We were less in contact. But I still plan to invite her home. Now I have a hectic schedule. I hope she's doing fine. Sooner or later I'll be in touch with her," Bonnie said.

Marga Scheide's latest news

 * ABBA Intermezzo International Fan Club posted yesterday on Facebook a beautiful picture of Marga Scheide and her partner Michiel Gunning and added this text:

"We are very proud of this wonderful photo of Marga Scheide and Michiel Gunning with ABBA Intermezzo No. 89 and repro of No. 1. You may know Marga from the Dutch group LUV´ who had many hits, incl. 'You're The Greatest Lover' in the late '70s. Michiel is her husband, her manager, journalist and both are very good friends of ours."

The Luv' ladies appeared previously a couple of times in the ABBA Intermezzo magazine. 

In 2016, the publication featured an article about Stany Van Wijmeersch's book "We All Love ABBA" (including an interview with the author and a picture of Luv'). The girl group took part in the release party of the book (see news posted on December 30th, 2016).

In 2018, an issue of the ABBA Intermezzo magazine included a behind-the-scenes interview with José Hoebee and Marga Scheide as well as Michiel Gunning and Stany Van Wijmeersch (see news posted on January 11th, 2018). Shortly afterwards, an editorial of the the magazine featured a beautiful picture of José Hoebee taken by Marco Rens (see news posted on April 27th, 2018).

* Marga was supposed to be the guest artist of six shows of Flemish comedian Piv Huvluv as part of his Vinylvreter tour through Flanders (Belgium). At the moment, she only appeared once during a performance (see news posted on October 18th, 2020). Her second appearance was cancelled last weekend due to the Covid-19 pandemic (see news posted on October 31st, 2020). No new date has been announced yet. But what will happen to the collaboration between the Dutch singer and the Belgian entertainer if the virus continues? It's too soon to know.

Marga Scheide, Michiel Gunning & Friends at the latest DC Models Fashion Show in Ibiza

Yesterday, Marga Scheide, her partner Michiel Gunning and entourage (including Roxanne Kwant and Sophia de Boer) attended the latest fashion show of DC Models (owned by her dear friends, Ger Valkenburg and Dyon Hagenaars) at the Wi-Ki-Woo Hotel in Ibiza. The charming singer (wearing a "Vintage Ibiza" dress) and her entourage looked fabulous in a typical Ibiza style.

Marga in the press

Earlier this week, Marga Scheide appeared in two publications:

* The latest issue of Story magazine featured a short article about the Luv' singer and a panel of celebrities who had to answer this question: "Would you give up your holidays by plane in order to preserve the environment?" Marga answered: "No. I have a house on Ibiza. If I traveled by car or by boat, it would take three days, which is not good for the CO2 emissions".

Marga attends Ger & Dyon's wedding ceremony in Ibiza!!!

Ibiza is Marga Scheide's second home. Last weekend, the blonde Luv' singer attended the wedding ceremony and party of her dear friends Ger Valkenburg and Dyon Hagenaars (of DC Models) on the Balearic Island.

Marga even gave an impromptu performance of a Luv' medley with Dutch singer Samantha Steenwijk during a party on a boat. Samantha reached fame and fortune after she took part in the TV talent shows "Bloed, Zweet & Tranen" (2013) and "The Voice of Holland" (2017).

Marga Scheide: la Dolce Vita in Rome

On December 4th, holidays pictures of Marga Scheide and her partner Michiel Gunning in Rome, Italy were posted on the Official Luv' fan page on Facebook. The blonde Luv' singer posed in front of the Colosseum (one of the "Wonders of the World"). She enjoyed la Dolce Vita. Prior to her stay in the Eternal City, Marga spent pleasant holidays in Marrakech (see news posted on December 3rd, 2018)

Peter and Marga visit José

Earlier today, Peter Boonstra (author of "The Story of Luv") visited José Hoebee in Best, NL. As a surprise, he brought Marga Scheide with him. He picked Marga up at the Eindhoven Airport. Beautiful pictures of the three of them were posted on the Official Luv' Facebook Page:

Yesterday, Luv' singer Marga Scheide and her partner Michiel Gunning attended the birthday party of Ger Valkenburg at Kaixo Ibiza with friends (including Ron Brandsteder's wife, Yvonne). Once again, on behalf of the Luv' fans, Happy Birthday Ger and many thanks for your input!!!

On March 23rd, Luv' singer Marga Scheide and her partner Michiel Gunning attended Dyon Hagenaars' birthday party at 1535 Wijnhuys, a wine bar in Breda, Netherlands. Dyon and his partner Ger Valkenburg run the fashion company "DC Models". Since 2016, the Luv' ladies have been involved in several projects developed by Dyon and Ger.

Luv' latest news

* On September 5th, Marga Scheide attended Ronald Kolk's fashion show at the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noorwijk, NL. The Luv' singer was invited by Ger Valkenburg and Dyon Hagenaars (of DC Models). She spent a glamorous evening with Vanessa Aalbersberg (famous for her win on TROS program "TV Kapster"), Kees ter bruggen (former singer and dancer and currently the owner of several restaurants in Ibiza and an artist) and Vanessa Smit (a model at DC Models).

* On September 6th, José Hoebee and Marga Scheide attended the release party of Claudia Schoemacher - Van Zweden's book "Het Rimpeleffect" at the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam. The ladies met Dolly Dots singers Esther Oosterbeek and Anita Heilker as well as Victorian Doll Naomi Broeders. Luv' and Dolly Dots were the two most successful Dutch girl groups in the late 1970s and 1980s and have always been on very good terms.

* Dutch medium Thomas Woolthuis interviewed Marga Scheide on September 6th for a book about paranormal and spiritual influences that play a role in people's life. Previously he had a conversation with José Hoebee published in the "ParaVisie" magazine (see news posted on May 18th, 2017).

* A couple of days ago, Baco (Hans Klok's little dog) died. May he rest in peace. To pay tribute to him, a beautiful picture of the world famous illusionist and Baco was posted on Luv's Official Facebook page as well as Luv's photonovel featuring Hans (initially posted last year). Click here to see the photonovel. Hans reacted to this nice post and wrote: "Thank you, very kind".
