Oppassen!!! was a successful Dutch TV series originally broadcast on VARA between 1991 and 2003.
On August 24th, 2021, at 4.05 pm, BNNVARA/NPO 2 will rerun the episode entitled "De vrouw in het rood" (the lady in red) and originally aired on October 25th, 1997. Chimène van Oosterhout made a guest appearance as the "Mysterieuze vrouw" (mysterious lady).
In addition to her career on TV as a host and her PR activities, the former Luv' singer has also been busy as an actress. She appeared on several Dutch series: Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden, Onderweg naar morgen, Mijn dochter en ik, Het zonnetje in huis and Duo B&B.
In 2000, the multi-talented media personality had one of the leading parts in the American movie "X- Patriots" (directed by Darien Sills-Evans). The film won several awards: Best Film at the AngelCiti Film Festival in 2001, Critic's Choice (Chicago Reader in 2001), Weekly Award Best Screenplay 2002, CCI Digital Award for Best Ensemble Cast 2002, Film Finders Maverick Award for Quality Low-Budget Film 2002 (Method Fest) and Audience Award at the DCTV's 24-Hour Film Festival in 2002.
