Patty Brard wants a series about her life

Recently, Patty Brard replaced Dyantha Brooks to co-host the Shownieuws podcast with Bart Ettekoven (see news posted on May 8th). On that occasion, she mentioned an ambitious project: a TV series about her life. Indeed the diva has had many ups and downs since her debut with Luv' in 1977. Last year, her memoirs entitled "Patty: de negen levens van Patty Brard" (written by Michel van Egmond and Antoinnette Scheulderman) came out on her 65th birthday and became a best-selling publication (see news posted on March 25th, 2020). "My life didn't stop with this book. It went further. I still have a lot of other things to develop," the SBS6 star told Bart Ettekoven on the Shownieuws podcast. Dutch female film director Will Koopman (known for the popular TV series Gooische Vrouwen and the two movies of the same name) is in touch with the former Luv' singer. She believes in the potential of a series based on Miss Brard's life. "She had a very nice idea, so we are still working on it. There is really so much going on," Patty said about her probable collaboration with Will Koopman.
