Patty Brard graces the cover of the latest issue of Beau Monde magazine. The SBS6 star discusses several subjects, including her recently published biography in which she criticized her former Luv' colleagues, Marga Scheide and José Hoebee.
"A reunion with Luv'? No never, even if they propose 200.000 euros per person. If I consider all the reasons to do it - attention, money and fun - I'm not interested. I don't need it. We already made two comebacks and it was always a 2-against-1 situation. Poor José was always in between: she was either pro-Marga and against me or it was the other way around," the diva asserts.
Miss Brard's bestselling publication (written by Michel van Egmond and Antoinnette Scheulderman) included cruel passages about Marga and José (see news posted on April 27th, 2020). Here's what Patty adds about the ex-Luv' singers in her interview in Beau Monde: "In the press, they reacted to the book in an ugly way (see news posted on March 28th, 2020). At first, I didn't want to talk about Luv' in my biography because I didn't want problems. But the writers didn't agree with me and insisted on me discussing Luv'. People with limited talent always go after the power another person has. That's exactly what happens with Luv': some colleagues want to be the boss because they are not gifted artistically."
Marga and José are not the only celebrities that Patty mentions. The Shownieuws star doesn't understand why Patricia Paay refuses to admit that Gordon helps her financially: "It's strange that Patricia denies it. Probably it has got to do with pride. But why aren't you proud that someone helps you?... There's no secret. She told other people about it. It's very nice of Gordon. It's proof that Dutch showbiz is not only about hate".
Moreover, La Brard explains that sex is overrated according to her.
The larger than life media personality also talks about her collaborations on television: "Kim-Lian van der Meij, Kees Tol, and Viktor Brand are nice colleagues. But there is one (that I don't want to name) who is very bossy and makes me feel insecure." She refuses to reveal his or her identity and on which network (SBS? RTL?) the problems with this fellow TV host happened.
Patty also tells that SBS6 tested Richard Groenendijk and her on the presentation of the new season of the reality show Paleis voor een Prikkie. This program was initially hosted by Frank Jansen and Rogier Smit who later joined RTL 4. "With Richard Groenendijk we taped a pilot of Paleis voor een Prikkie. Unfortunately, Talpa plans a new season with unknown hosts," she says.
