On July 13th, SBS6's entertainment news program Shownieuws featured Patty Brard as a showbiz expert. The TV program drew 463.000 viewers (market share: 15.3%).
The diva gave her opinion about face masks whose use revived due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She would like everybody to wear them everywhere and not only in public transportation. She expressed her worries about tourists who travel to the Netherlands. "I see a lot of foreigners in Amsterdam and I don't understand why we don't have the same rules about masks all over Europe," Patty said.
The ex-Luv' singer compared the situations in Holland and Ibiza (where she had a second home). "In Spain, everybody wears face masks in the streets," she explained. Due to the virus, all the clubs and discos are closed on the party island. "It's fantastic. It feels like the Ibiza from the past," she told.
Patty thought that masks should always be obligatory in planes.
