Media personality Matthijs van Nieuwkerk (who presents VARA/NPO 1's talk show "De Wereld Draait Door") told recently in an interview for Dutch newspaper "Volkskrant" that he would get a pay cut due to the fact that the new season of his program would be shortened.
Patty Brard reacted to this announcement on SBS 6' entertainment news program "Shownieuws". She said that she didn't believe in Van Nieuwkerk's wage reduction. The TV presenter is supposed to be paid 181.000 € a year but Patty thinks that his wage will remain the same (580.000 € a year). "I'm sure that he will host another program in addition to DWDD and that his salary will be maintained," the ex-Luv' singer asserted.
