Before he produced hits for 1970s pop sensations like Mouth & MacNeal, Luv' and many other bands, Dutch producer Hans van Hemert was also in charge of the recordings of "Nederbeat" groups (including Q65).
Yesterday, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their signature song "The Life I Live" (#5 on the Dutch Top 40 in 1966), the members of Q65 took part in the inauguration of a monument representing the lyrics of the chorus of their classic hit at the Almeloplein in The Hague, NL.

Hans van Hemert attended the ceremony. In addition to this event, other festivities took place in the Hague (including an exhibt about the group, vinyl market, performances, a ride on vintage motorbikes and of course many Q65 tracks played...).
After the inauguration, the guys of Q65 had a drive in a pink Cadillac.
