Viktor Brand & Patty Brard (with Koos van Plateringen) on SBS 6
In 2007, Patty Brard started to co-host "Shownieuws" with Viktor Brand on SBS 6. They worked happily together for four years. In May 2011, Patty was dismissed from SBS. The following year, Viktor left the entertainment news show. Fortunately, the diva was busy with other projects (the release of her solo album "Patty's Party Vol.1", the reality show "Diva's Draaien Door" on RTL 4, the celebrity diving competition "Sterren springen op Zaterdag" on SBS 6....). At that time, the former Luv' singer often told in interviews how much she missed Viktor.
January 2013 saw Patty's comeback on "Shownieuws" as an expert. Recently, SBS allowed Viktor to host the TV program again (see news posted on August 2nd, 2015). It means that the golden duo can collaborate like in the good old days.
On September 11th, the 11.00 pm edition of "Shownieuws" featured "Pat & Vik" (with Koos van Plateringen) and drew 877.000 viewers (market share: 21.4%). La Brard expressed satisfaction about Viktor's return on social networks.
