Today NU.nl and Mediacourant.nl have announced that Patty Brard has extended her contract with SBS 6 for two years. The former Luv' singer started to work for the Dutch TV channel in 2007. She was involved in several high-rated programs like "Shownieuws", "De Nieuwe Uri Geller", "Wie Ben Ik?" and "K2 zoekt K3". In 2011, she was dismissed from SBS. Her participation in the celebrity diving competition "Sterren springen op zaterdag" on SBS 6 caused a sensation in Holland and gave her a boost. She later appeared on short-term projects as a freelance professional. January 2013 saw her comeback on "Shownieuws". In 2014 and 2015 she co-hosted the successful reality program "Bonje met de buren" (Trouble with neighbours) with Jochem van Gelder. However, the infotainment program "Show Vandaag" (2013/2014) and "Patty's Big Fat Ibiza Wedding" (2014) were not popular.
La Brard is one of the oldest Dutch TV personalities. Since 1983, the diva has been very active on the small screen.
