ABBA + Boney M. + Luv' = hit machine of the late 1970s

During the pinnacle of their career (1977 - 1981), the Luv' ladies scored their greatest hits on the European charts simultaneously with two other Pop-disco quartets: ABBA from Sweden and Boney M. from Germany. Hans van Hemert was influenced by the music of Frank Farian and the duo Björn Ulvaeus/Benny Andersson. In 1993, Luv' followed in the footsteps of ABBA and Boney M. by releasing their own "Gold" compilation.
