In her latest column posted on the website of Weekend Magazine, Patty Brard has paid tribute to Dutch furniture designer Jan des Bouvrie who is one of her closest friends. The diva first met him in the early 1990's when she was romantically involved with Eric Peute who provoked her bankruptcy. On August 2nd, Jan will celebrate his 71st birthday in St. Tropez, France. Tomorrow Patty will leave Holland to go there. As a present to Jan, the guests will have to donate money to the Brigitte Bardot Foundation for the Welfare and Protection of Animals.
