On April 8th, the early evening edition of Shownieuws (SBS6's entertainment news program) featured Patty Brard as a showbiz expert and drew 242.000 viewers (market share: 7.9%).
During the broadcast, Patty's colleague, Bart Ettekoven (editor-in-chief of Weekend magazine) dared to criticize the diva for the way she behaved on social media.

It all started with the former Luv' singer condemning children doing the TikTok trend called the "blackout challenge". The challenge encourages users of the app to hold their breath or asphyxiate until they lose consciousness. Kids died due to this stupid trend.
Bart Ettekoven told Patty: "You are also on this app and I see you every day performing dance routines. You should more principled".
La Brard replied: "I am not on this app. I sometimes perform a TikTok dance routine on Instagram for fun".
Bart then said: "I always see the TikTok logo on your videos, right? You should be more principled and you should say: "I have nothing to do with that".
Miss Brard reacted: "No, this is not true. You should go to the optician because it's not right".

Moreover, Patty praised on Shownieuws Gordon after his appearance on Beau van Erven Dorens' talk show Beau on RTL 4 (that attracted 622.000 viewers (market share: 12%) on April 8th. The singer and media personality discussed his 30th anniversary as a recording artist. "You notice that Gordon is kinder. He was on Beau and he is now better to himself," Patty explained about his colleague who went through ups and downs. Gordon discussed his past addictions (alcohol and drugs) that caused chaos in his life. The entertainer seemed to be happier and wiser. "It was a very good interview and the song he performed was beautiful," the diva added.
Recently, La Brard criticized Gordon. She thought the singer was childish after he declared that he should have won an Edison Award (see news posted on March 31st, 2021). She was also disappointed in the larger than life artist after he said that he was drinking alcohol again (see news posted on March 14th, 2021).
In early 2020, Goor and Pat's travel show on SBS6 entitled "Patty en Gordon op zoek naar de eeuwige jeugd" had disappointed TV ratings. The two celebrities were supposed to co-host a daily talk show on SBS6 but due to the coronavirus, the tapings were cancelled and this TV project was shelved (see news posted on November 4th, 2021)
