During the March 4th edition of Shownieuws, Patty discussed "Birth of a New Age", the song by Surinamese singer Jeangu Macrooy that will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam. In the song, Macrooy calls for resilience and authenticity. The track is mostly written in English and partly in Sranan Tongo, a lingua franca in Surinam. One line says ‘Mi na afu sensi, no wan man e broko mi’. Many people have reacted to the song on social media and think that Macrooy sings "You are my broccoli". "It reminds me of a Lidl commercial. You can collect little dolls and then you say to yourself: "I miss Bobby Broccoli", the ex-Luv' singer told. "Do you know what irritates me a little? When I listen to what he says about his mother. I think he's a sweet and nice man. He's an artist. However, I don't like his song. It's a bit arty-farty and needs a real verse and a chorus. His voice lacks soul," she added.

The following day, Frits Huffnagel reacted to Patty's comments. He also works on Shownieuws and is part of the supervisory board of the Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS that airs the Eurovision Song Contest. "Last night Patty Brard sat here at this table and she compared the song to a Lidl commercial. It is a personal track and you cannot talk the way she did when you have a career based on Sha-la-li-sha-la-la," Huffnagel said referring to Luv's signature song You're the Greatest Lover (Sha-na-na-na-na-na-na-na). 

Then Miss Brard became angry and posted anti-Frits Huffnagel content on her Instagram stories. The Prima Donna (who is used to feuds with celebrities) has a new enemy in Dutch showbiz 😂😂😂
