La Brard on 5 Uur Show and Shownieuws

On February 19th, Patty Brard appeared on SBS6's program 5 Uur Show which attracted 159.000 viewers (market share: 7.4%). The diva often takes part in this talk show to express her opinion about topical issues. Two days ago, she discussed the controversial political agenda of the Reformed Political Party (SGP: Staatkundig Gereformeerde Partij).

SBS6's entertainment news program Shownieuws featured Patty as a showbiz expert twice this week:

  • February 18th: 436.000 viewers/market share: 14.8%
  • February 20th: 595.000 viewers/market share: 14.1%

During yesterday's edition of Shownieuws, Patty told that she wanted her Luv' gold and platinum records back. She lost them after they were auctioned due to her bankruptcy in 1994. She intended to call the NVPI, the Dutch trade association that gives certifications to albums and singles. Patty's comments were surprising as she often said in interviews that she had nothing to do with Luv' anymore and she criticized her former colleagues, Marga Scheide and José Hoebee in her memoirs published last year (see news posted on April 27th, 2020). Once a Luv' girl, always a Luv' girl...
