Patty Brard on M

Yesterday, Patty Brard appeared on Margriet van der Linden's talk show "M" on KRO-NCRV/NPO 1 which drew 1.039.000 viewers (market share: 18.5%). The SBS6 diva promoted her first children's book based on her two dogs and entitled "Bibi & Lulu: Het is feest!".

The former Luv' singer discussed her late dog Lulu who died recently (see news posted on October 3rd, 2020) and was very emotional about this touchy issue. Dutch author Antoinette Scheulderman (who co-wrote her bestselling biography with her partner Michel van Egmond) was there too to present her latest publication about the mourning process of people who had to overcome the death of their pet. Antoinette helped Patty to find the right words to describe correctly her feeling of sadness.

Margriet van der Linden also asked questions about her daughter Priscilla with whom Patty reconciled recently (see news posted on September 9th, 2020). "I don't need to know all the details about this reunion and what happened for eleven years without contact. It's a personal issue. However, I would like to talk about it because eleven years is a long time and it looked like a never-ending feud," Margriet said to Patty. The larger than life media personality replied: "Michel, Antoinnette and I wrote the book in such a way that we thought it might be a good reason to contact each other again. The funny thing is my daughter didn't read it at all". When asked what was the reason why mother and daughter were in touch again, La Brard explained: "That's very funny. Evert Santegoeds and his partner should get the credit for that. Evert is one of my colleagues on Shownieuws but he is also the editor-in-chief of Privé. He has always been in touch with my daughter and could arrange a meeting between the two of us".
