Patty Brard talks about Gordon's misfortune in Privé (De Telegraaf)

Patty & Gordon

Two days ago, the website of Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf featured an article about the latest misfortune of media personality and singer Gordon in its Privé (entertainment news) section. Last weekend, the larger than life entertainer was assaulted, humiliated, threatened and robbed in his own home in Amsterdam. As a very good friend of his and a colleague on television, Patty Brard told Privé Gordon's recent problems. Earlier this year, she appeared with him on SBS6's travel show "Patty en Gordon op zoek naar de eeuwige jeugd" (see news posted on February 9th, 2020). The duo travelled the whole world to find beauty and healthy methods to be in better shape and to look for eternal youth. Moreover, they were supposed to co-host a talk show on SBS6. But this program (inspired by Dr. Phil, Oprah Winfrey and Catherine Keyl) was shelved due to the Coronavirus (see news posted on May 15th, 2020).

After the attack in Gordon's home, one suspect was arrested but Privé insinuated that there might be three perpetrators. At first, Patty wanted to call Gordon after she knew he had tested positive for Covid-19 but then she heard the terrible news of the violent robbery.

"When I heard on Sunday that he tested positive for coronavirus, I wanted to call him and ask if I had to bring him some food," the former Luv' singer said. "I couldn't reach him and I knew later that he lost his phone but I didn't know what really happened to him. This cellphone was just one of the things he lost," she added. Gordon is still shocked according to Patty. He locked himself in his villa in the Gooi, an area known in the Netherlands as the home of the rich and famous.
