Dutch pop singer and TV personality Gordon was recently interviewed by Yves Gijrath for his podcast "Een-tweetje met Yves". He expressed his point of view about the disappointing viewing figures of "Patty en Gordon op zoek naar de eeuwige jeugd" (his travel show featuring Patty Brard, broadcast in February and March on SBS6). According to him, the TV audience measurement system by SKO (Stichting KijkOnderzoek) is outdated. "It's obsolete. Why don't they make Ziggo's figures public? I'm sure that there is something going on behind our back. It's like the mafia," Gordon said.
Moreover, a talk show hosted by Patty and Gordon was supposed to air this month on SBS6. "It will be broadcast in the early evening. It's during the early fringe so it's a strategic time. I hope we can get 300.000 to 500.000 viewers," Gordon explained. However, last month, tapings for Patty & Gordon's talk show were postponed to a future unspecified date due to the coronavirus (see news posted on March 17th, 2020).
