Patty Brard: will her talk show with Gordon go on?

Patty Brard and John de Mol

Recently, Patty Brard told on Radio Veronica that she hoped that her talk show with Gordon on SBS6 would go on. The program was supposed to air on April 6th. Due to the coronavirus, the tapings were postponed to a future unspecified date (see news posted on March 17th, 2020).

"We've been told that we are living difficult times and that we depend on the public. It's difficult to film such a TV program without an audience," the diva said.

When asked if the talk show was postponed or cancelled, the ex-Luv' singer explained: "At the moment we put it on hold and we hope to go on in the second semester".

It's not clear what her boss, TV mogul John de Mol (who owns Talpa Network), thinks about the situation. He might not be happy with what La Brard told about him. Indeed Patty revealed in her recent biography that in her 4-year contract signed with Talpa TV last year, De Mol specified that if she gained weight, she would immediately be fired.
