In a recent broadcast of AD Media Podcast, Dutch TV columnist Angela de Jong told that the recruitment of Patty Brard as a co-host on Net5's talk show "Ladies Night" was the death blow to this program. Ladies Night is not high in the ratings. It seems that Talpa TV called Patty to come to the rescue of this show. The same thing happened earlier when the ex-Luv' singer was chosen to boost the viewing figures of RTL Late Night met Twan Huys on RTL 4 and 6 Inside on SBS6. Soon after Patty's recruitment, these TV programs were cancelled due to bad viewing figures.
"Although I like Patty, one thing is certain: when Patty is added to a TV program, you can be sure that this is the end of it. She appeared next to Twan to improve the ratings of his show and later the same thing happened on 6 Inside. I think history repeats itself with Ladies Night," Angela de Jong said.
