On September 9th, Chimène van Oosterhout took part in the gala of the Mentelity Foundation at the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. This event was held in honour of Dutch athlete Bibian Mentel (who died of cancer on March 29th, 2021) and her charity. In 2012 Bibian set up her own "Mentelity foundation" to stimulate, motivate, and inspire children and adolescents with a physical disability (to continue) to engage in sports, both in general and in extreme board sports in particular.
The gala was organized by Edwin Spee en Julian van de Kamp. Chimène wore a beautiful Kitty van Engelen pink dress. She paid tribute to Bibian Mentel on her Facebook page and Instagram account.
