Franklin van Liempt: the initiator of the crowdfunding
Today is the day that the crowdfunding for the reissue of the Herinnering album by Bonnie & José on CD/DVD starts.
Here's the text posted on the Herinnering page on Facebook to promote this project initiated by Franklin van Liempt and supported by José Hoebee Fanpage, Stany Van Wymeersch (author of books about ABBA) and Karin Angeleyes:
We're off! With your support, we will be able to finally release the 'Herinnering' album by Bonnie & José on CD. With the most beautiful ABBA songs in Dutch sung by two of the best Dutch singers, it is one of the best albums in the Dutch language. The first edition will also contain a bonus DVD with the TV special 'Bonnie & José in Sweden'. If we do not reach the target amount, your donation will be refunded. The video with English subtitles is featured on the crowdfunding page.

The new musical label CD-licious has plans to finally release the Dutch album “Herinnering (Memory)" by Bonnie & José for the first time on CD with 12 of the most beautiful ABBA songs in Dutch. The first edition shall include a bonus DVD of the TV special titled 'Bonnie & José In Sweden', for the first time in stereo!
In 1985 José Hoebee, member of the internationally successful Dutch girl group LUV’, and Dutch solo singer Bonnie St. Claire chose not to record the hit songs from ABBA but instead 'gems' from their album repertoire. Together with the best production team and musicians they had hit singles with ‘Cassandra’ and ‘Zoals Vrienden Doen'. In the TV special that followed, ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus tells how thrilled he was with the album.
The CD/DVD shall initially not be available in the shops. When you support this project you shall be certain to obtain this collector’s item with the expected release in the Autumn of 2020.

You receive a signed copy of the CD/DVD set by Bonnie & José.
€50,-- or more:
You receive a signed copy of the CD/DVD set by Bonnie & José personalized with your own name.
€70,-- or more:
You receive two signed copies of the CD/DVD set by Bonnie & José (not personalized) one for yourself and the other to pass on as a gift to a friend... the way old friends do.
€80,-- or more:
You receive a signed copy of the CD/DVD set by Bonnie & José personalized with your own name including a mention in the booklet of the CD/DVD set.
€500,-- or more:
