On September 18th, the episode of SBS 6's reality show "Utopia 2" (which attracted 313.000 viewers (market share: 9.2%) featured a special moment involving Patty Brard. The ex-Luv' singer sent a surprise video message to Utopia contestant Merel who is a big fan of hers. The diva supported the young woman.
Utopia is a format developed by John de Mol and follows a cast of 15 men and women who are placed in isolation and filmed twenty-four hours a day for a planned one year. The cast has to create their own society and figure out how to survive. Four seasons of this program were broadcast between early 2014 and June 2018 on SBS 6. Patty has always been an admirer of Utopia and even appeared three times on the show (in 2014, 2017 and 2018). A follow-up to this reality program entitled "Utopia 2" started on June 4th, 2018 and will stop at the end of this year.
