Krystl, Maxime & Stéphanie covering the folk & country classic "The pain of loving you"
The 8th edition of the pop festival "Muzikale Helden" (Musical Heroes) takes place this week in "De Kleine Komedie" (the oldest theatre in Amsterdam) featuring famous Dutch singers who cover songs of their favourite artists and bands. Click here for information.
To promote this event (hosted by Dutch journalist specialized in pop music Leo Blokhuis), female vocalists Stéphanie Struijk (aka Stevie Ann), Krystl and Maxime Barlag (of pop-folk group "Mister and Mississippi" and Ria Thielsch's niece) appeared on VARA/NPO 1's talk show "De Wereld Draait Door" on September 13th. The TV program drew 909.000 viewers (market share: 25.6%). The ladies rendered a beautiful version of "The pain of loving you" (originally performed by Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt).
