Since 2013, Dutch pop-folk band "Mister and Mississippi" featuring Maxime Barlag (niece of ex-Luv' singer Ria Thielsch) has been very active. Their second album "We Only Part To Meet Again" was released last year by V2 Records Holland. It peaked at Nr. 3 and spent 8 weeks on the Dutch Album Top 100. Their previous album was more popular. It reached Nr. 6 and spent 32 weeks on the album chart.
The highly influential NPO Radio 2 and NPO 3FM as well as rock critics support their music. In late 2015, 3VOOR12 (a multimedia platform of the Netherlands Public Broadcasting VPRO for alternative pop) asked its listeners to vote for the "song of the year".
