Patty wins Luv's photo book on Ranking the Stars / José's reaction on Facebook

Patty Brard....winner of Luv's book!!!!

The regular readers of my blog know that Patty Brard is in conflict with Peter Boonstra (the author of the photo biography "The Story of Luv") and her former colleagues Marga Scheide and José Hoebee (see news posted on June 11th, 2015). The reason of this feud is the publication of pictures which were used without authorization according to Miss Brard. José and Marga came to Peter's rescue and told that he did a fantastic job and that Universal Music authorized him to publish the photos (see news posted on June 17th, 2015). Currently, the record company tries to solve legal issues with some photographers.

On July 23rd, BNN/NPO 3 aired the panel game "Ranking the Stars" (hosted by Paul de Leeuw). The TV program only drew 320.000 viewers (market share: 6.3%). Ironically, the prize that celebrities could win was Luv's book in the latest broadcast....and you know what? Patty won it!!!! The SBS 6 diva felt obliged to laugh loudly when she received her reward. Moreover, Dutch illusionist Hans Klok was part of the panel. He's a good friend of José and presented the book to the press in early May (see news posted on May 1st, 2015). On the other hand, Hans is also close to Patty.

José reacted on Facebook to what Patty said on "Ranking the Stars":

"I want to put the record straight. I've been mentioned on "Ranking the Stars"....Because Luv's book was the prize and Hans Klok, my dear friend, was also in the panel. I've known Patty for 40 years and I'm surprised (actually not) that she still believes in her truth. She said that she didn't blame Hans for his participation in the press launch of the book (although she wasn't there) and that he didn't know that she was opposed to it....I didn't want to react. She always has a platform on TV. I didn't fool Hans. He knew the situation from the start and was so kind to take part in the release party. Because he appreciates Luv'....He refuses to decide which side he's on....He doesn't have to. Love him....because of that".
