In a recent column for Weekend magazine, Patty Brard told that she didn't believe in the potential of "Walk Along" (a song which will represent the Netherlands at the next Eurovision Song Contest). The track is performed by Dutch singer Trijntje Oosterhuis. Just before Christmas, it entered the hit parade in Holland. It peaked at #7 on the Single Top 100 and at #38 on the Dutch Top 40. The current position on the Top 100 is #90.
"I think: everything's good, the song, the singer but I don't feel the emotion. OK, it's a hit, even if it has experienced a fast decrease in the charts. I don't know if in five months I'll still be enthusiastic about it," the diva wrote.
Last year, Patty critcized "Calm after the storm" (by The Common Linnets) which finished second at the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 (see news posted on May 19th, 2014).
