Surprise: "Who's sorry now?" re-released as a digital single.

Earlier this week, José Hoebee participated in the taping of RTL 4's program "Life is beautiful" which airs on Sunday at 11.00 A.M (see news posted on September 2nd, 2014). She performed a song from her back catalogue: "Who's Sorry Now?". My Luv' friend Martin Vink has told me that this track has been re-released by Hit it! Music and is available for download on Dutch website "Mega-media.nl". The artist's manager, Dennis van Korven, confirmed me the news. Unfortunately, the single can only be downloaded in Benelux at the moment. Hopefully, it will appear on iTunes Store for fans abroad.

"Who's Sorry Now?" is a popular song with music written by Ted Snyder and lyrics by Bert Kalmar and Harry Ruby. It was published in 1923 and was featured in the Marx Brothers film "A Night in Casablanca" (1946). The song has been performed by a number of artists. It was recorded in 1958 by Connie Francis, and since then it has become closely identified with her due to the immense popularity of her version which was her breakthrough hit. The track peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 with eventual US sales totalling one million units and was #1 for six weeks in the UK.

José covered it in late 2003. Her version appeared as a bonus track on a tribute album to Doris Day by Marjan Berger. It was also included on her compilation "Alle Hits & Unieke Bonustracks" in 2005.
