FINALLY! Peggy March & José Hoebee's duet to be released!

Peggy & José

Last year, José Hoebee recorded a new version of her #1 hit "I Will Follow Him" in duet with American legend Peggy March who originally performed this pop classic in 1963. Luv's vocalist was approached by fellow artist Casper Janssen (a.k.a Dennis Jones) who was in touch with Peggy's producer Søren Jensen and who could arrange the contact between the ladies. The recording session took place in March 2011 in the studio of Piet Souer in Blaricum, NL. Luv' colleague Marga Scheide was present to support José. A second duet entitled "My Christmas Wish" was also cut. The singers appeared on Nederland 1 morning program "KoffieMAX" and Shownieuws (SBS 6) to promote their future CD. A music video was even shot and posted on Vimeo but was rapidly deleted. Since then, nothing has been said about this artistic collaboration. It looked like a stillborn project. To be honest, I thought that the two tracks would never come out.
But yesterday, good news: the release of the above-mentioned songs was announced on José's forum and on the Facebook page of Night Dance Records. The duets are bonus tracks of the new edition of Peggy's album "Always and Forever" which will be released on DA-Music in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on April 20th.

I would like to thank Casper, Soren, José, Peggy and everyone who made this long-awaited album possible.
