Dennis Schouten leaves Radio Veronica (Talpa) due to Patty Brard's complaint to John de Mol

RoddelPraat is an entertainment news show hosted by the young reporter Dennis Schouten and the controversial media personality Jan Roos on YouTube. The two gentlemen often diss Dutch celebrities. One of their favourite targets is Patty Brard. A section of their program entitled "Patty Patty Patty" even deals with the latest news of the ex-Luv' singer.

Jan Roos is persona non grata at John de Mol's media company Talpa Network which owns Talpa TV (SBS6, Net5, Veronica, SBS9) and Talpa Radio (including Radio Veronica). Until recently, his young sidekick Dennis Schouten worked as a freelancer on Wilfred Genee's radio and TV shows (Radio Veronica and Veronica Inside). Patty and other Dutch celebrities complained about RoddelPraat due to "tasteless jokes". Moreover, the diva and her Shownieuws colleagues criticized Dennis Schouten earlier this month after he couldn't find Ferry Doedens at his home, following the revelations about his OnlyFans adult activities (see news posted on January 19th, 2021)

Last week, Dennis Schouten was summoned to the office of Paul Römer, managing director of the radio and television department at Talpa Network. The TV and radio executive gave the 25-year-old man an ultimatum - he could either stop co-hosting RoddelPraat with Jan Roos or he was fired from Talpa. Dennis chose his collaboration with Jan instead of his freelance work for the powerful media company. He explained this situation on the January 20th episode of RoddelPraat. On the same episode, the "Patty Patty Patty" section was about La Brard visiting her mother who had been ill and her complaint about RoddelPraat to John de Mol. 

On January 27th episode, the RoddelPraat guys mentioned Patty's recent Instagram picture with her mother and her daughter (see news posted earlier today). Initially, Patty and Priscilla posed with 91-year-old grandma Brard without face masks for the photo. After receiving messages from unhappy fans who told Patty that she should wear a mask to protect her mother from the Covid-19, the prima donna removed the photo and replaced it by another one showing her daughter and herself wearing a mask.
