The latest issue of Dutch celebrity gossip magazine Privé features a short interview with Marga Scheide. The blonde singer answers the questions of gossip columnist Jan Uriot.
Here's a translation in English:
Jan Uriot: So did you get on the boat?
Marga Scheide: Yes, that's right. My partner Michiel and I bought a boat.
Jan Uriot: No Spain this year?
Marga Scheide: Well, next week we'll go to Ibiza for a couple of weeks. We have two houses there. We bought the boat in early March just before the coronavirus turned the world upside down. I thought that I had two options: we couldn't leave the Netherlands this year or the borders would reopen much later and then we had to sail Dutch rivers this summer.
Jan Uriot: So you bought this boat right in time?
Marga Scheide: When we went to the salesman, the warehouse was full of boats. Two weeks later, all the boats were sold. We were not too late for this purchase.
Jan Uriot: Where are going to sail?
Marga Scheide: We live in the Gooi so we are not far from the Gooimeer, IJmeer and the Vecht. Soon we'll sail the Amsterdam canals.
Jan Uriot: You went positively through the coronavirus, right?
Marga Scheide: Absolutely. The crisis was not only hell. For example, my niece Mickey van Dinteren dared to open a fashion boutique (Square12) in Bilthoven during this dark time. It is a success. You don't hear much about this kind of business nowadays but this is the reality too.
