* On June 16th, RTL 4 reran an old episode of its home decorating TV show Eigen Huis & Tuin featuring Patty Brard and Thomas Verhoef. This rerun attracted 32.000 viewers (market share: 7.4%). This episode was initially broadcast one year before the diva had her gastric bypass and lost more than 30 kilos (see news posted on January 29th, 2017).

* Due to the COVID-19 crisis, RTL 5 has decided to rerun old episodes of the reality show Hotter Than My Daughter (hosted by Patty Brard). These episodes were taped before Patty's latest contract with Talpa TV in early 2019. The rerun of episode 5 attracted 170.000 viewers (market share: 2.5%) on June 8th. The rerun of episode 6 drew 121.000 viewers (market share: 2.2%) on June 15th.

* On the latest Valentine's day, NPO 3/BNNVARA broadcast an episode of the dating show First Dates featuring Radio Veronica DJ Giel Beelen who became romantically involved with a girl named Malou. Giel posted pictures of his romance on social media for several weeks but yesterday he announced on Instagram that his relationship with Malou was over. As a showbiz expert on Shownieuws, Patty is convinced that this love affair was fake. "I am not interested in conspiracy theories but I know that when a TV program needs promotion, a 6-month contract can be signed to give the impression that something between the two of them has happened," the diva said.

* Last month, the tell-all book entitled "Patty: de negen levens van Patty Brard" (written by Michel van Egmond and Antoinnette Scheulderman) disappeared from Holland's most relevant bestseller list "De Bestseller 60" (see news posted on May 29th, 2020). It spent eight weeks on this chart (including three weeks on the Top 5).
However, the sensationalist publication is still present on another list: #32 on Amazon.nl (Bestsellers in E-books biografieën & memoires).
