Earlier this week, Patty Brard confirmed on SBS 6's infotainment program "6 inside" that she had signed a 4-year contract with Talpa Network which owns several TV channels (SBS 6, Net 5, Veronica and SBS 9).
Patty's deal was made public after ups and downs in the media. In January, Miss Brard told that she was about to sign a 3-year deal with RTL Nederland. But this news was rapidly refuted (see article posted on January 23rd, 2019). Last month, several news websites revealed that Patty was in negotiation with Talpa TV. But nothing concrete was announced.
Next week, the ex-Luv' singer will replace Albert Verlinde during his holidays on 6 Inside. She will also take part in Shownieuws again. Later this year, she will be involved in her own TV show.
Between 2007 and 2017, La Brard was mainly busy on SBS 6, in particular on Shownieuws. She ended her partnership with the TV network because she was told that she was not "fresh and fruity" enough. This new deal with Talpa feels like a revenge for Patty.
