Patty Brard on "The Roast of Johnny de Mol"

On December 18th "The Roast of Johnny de Mol" (featuring Patty Brard as a roaster) drew 514.000 viewers (market share: 8.4%) on Comedy Central. These are good viewing figures for such a TV show broadcast on a minor channel. The program even reached #19 on SKO's Dag Top 25 (the daily list of the 25 most-watched programs (conceived by Dutch audience measurement company Stichting KijkOnderzoek). 

By comparison, The Roast of Gordon attracted 464.000 viewers (market share: 7%) in 2016 and The Roat of Giel Beelen drew 603.000 viewers (market share: 9%) in 2017.

Patty has known Johnny de Mol (son of Dutch media mogul John de Mol) since his childhood. Here's what she told him during the show: "We all know that your father is a billionaire but why do you look like a piggy bank? You travel the whole world to escape from the Netherlands so you don't need to watch the fucking TV channels of your father!".

Moreover, Dutch stand-up comedian Peter Pannekoek told cruel jokes about Patty Brard. "The devil is not in her but she is in the devil: Patty Brard! You look like a ruin, only a charity could help you," he said. "You don't know the word "No"...Hey Patty, do you want to dive into the water? No. Do you want to ice-skate? No. Just say "no" once and for all. This is what your daughter will also say when the doctor asks her: Do we have to revive her?" he added.
