Adalyn to release their debut single "Hold On" in January 2019

Sarah, Corina and Lianne are Adalyn

Earlier this year, Dutch media announced the launch of a new girl group named "Adalyn" (see news posted on August 28th, 2018). Luv's former producer Hans van Hemert wrote a song entitled "Hold On" for the girls.

Adalyn is the brainchild of Frederik Nelck who recruited three girls: Sarah, Corina and Yoriko. The three young women recorded Hold On and just before the filming of the music video, Yoriko suddenly left the trio. A replacement had to be found. "We had to go on but the group was incomplete. I searched for a new member and I even started a recruiting campaign on Facebook. Lianne reacted to my request," Nelck recently told Medemblik Actueel, the news website of the municipality of Medemblik.

"Friends of mine tagged me to show the message about the recruitment of a new singer. I immediately sent films of myself and before I knew it I was on the film set. It was a bit scared but it felt so relaxed. As if we knew each other for years," Lianne explained.

"I've chosen real and pure girls with beautiful voices. It's important to have the perfect sound. The energy within the group is so good. The three singers come from down to earth families. This stable background is very important," Nelck added.

At the moment it's the calm before the storm. The track has been mixed with the voice of Lianne. In late January 2019, Hold On will be launched.

Last month, José Hoebee sent Adalyn a video message (posted on Twitter) to congratulate them:

Even Privé reporter and friend of the Luv' ladies Jan Uriot wrote a short article about the new and promising girl group:
