Patty Brard's latest column for Weekend magazine deals with TV viewing figures. As an experienced media personality, she knows how important TV ratings are. TV hosts are under pressure whether they work on commercial networks or on public channels.
Recently, NTR/NPO 3's program "Brard & Jekel: VetGelukkig?!" (hosted by Patty Brard and Diederik Jekel) scored higher than average ratings (see news posted on October 24th, 2018). In her text, Patty mentions the misfortune of RTL 4's talk show "RTL Late Night met Twan Huys" whose latest viewing figures were bad.
Last year, the former Luv' singer left SBS 6 after being ten years on this TV channel (see news posted on September 1st, 2017). Now she works freelance on the small screen. Despite the fact that she has no exclusive deal with a channel, the diva still feels the pressure of TV ratings.
