Yesterday evening, the Luv' ladies (dressed in beautiful black evening gowns) performed during the Childright Nobel Gala at the Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus in Scheveningen, Netherlands. Peter Strykes of LA The Voices sang as well.
The guest of honour of this special event was Prof. Dr. Ben Feringa (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2016) who signed a statement in aid of Childright with other Nobel Prize winners (including Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu and Michail Gorbatsjov).
The funds raised for the gala will be used for child projects in the Netherlands and abroad (Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Guatemala, Kenia, Nepal, Romania and Namibia).
Prof. Dr. Ben Feringa received the Childright Award 2018 and a €10.000 check for charities.
