On November 15th, SBS 6 broadcast "Thuis op Zondag" (hosted by Kim-Lian van der Meij and Dirk Zeelenberg). The TV program featured Sabia Engicek and Patty Brard. It attracted 502.000 viewers (market share: 11.7%).
Patty discussed the success of "Shownieuws" (SBS 6 entertainment news show in which she often appears as an expert). "We had to go back to basics. It became more accurate and more Dutch. We are kind to celebrities," she explained. But sometimes there are negative aspects when you present "Shownieuws". "When I have to report something bad about someone, I stammer. It's terrible to talk about things you really know or about people who are ill. We prefer to wish them well," she added.
The format of "Shownieuws" was improved earlier this year. It gave a boost in viewing figures (see news posted on February 12th, 2015).
